Chad and Becky planned such a cool day around their wedding! They had their ceremony and reception both at the Marott in Indianapolis. Their ceremony was in the courtyard area which has an outdoor feel with a glass roof…nice light! And for the reception, they decided to bring Vegas to them with a whole casino room…ultra cool! Guests could dance, mingle, eat, drink, play the tables…anything!! I have so many great shots from this one that I have to go over my image limit…such a rebel! Here are a few of my favs from the day…

Ok, there are a bunch of photographers playing a little game of blog-tag! In the past few days, I’ve been tagged by a couple different super-cool photographer friends of mine (Melody & Jeremy of Carpenter Photography & Design and Shane & Erin at Melnbacker Photography) so now I’m required by the double-secret photography bylaws to give 8 facts about myself and then tag some others! Ok, here’s how I roll…
1. I went skydiving for my 21st birthday and had a less-than-picture-perfect landing!
2. My favorite restaurant is Abuelos…Fajitas, baby!
3. I (very frequently) dance around the house with Zoe singing Bratz songs…and I’m of course, amazingly good at it! Not.
4. My hair used to be REALLY long…hey, it was the 80s! Those photos will NEVER see the light of day.
5. Steely Dan is my favorite band…if you get it, you get it, ya know?
6. I seriously dig riding my SeaDoos. 215hp, Supercharged, 4-Stroke…mmmmm!
7. I love Pop-Tarts…Brown Sugar Cinnamon to be exact. Pop-Tarts and Diet Vanilla Pepsi…breakfast of champions!
8. I am so addicted to the Colbert Report…I laugh so hard that I spit my Diet Vanilla Pepsi through my nose! Ouch.

I seriously hope someone else out there gets that Christopher Cross song stuck in their head now!! Luke and Laura are my New Years Eve couple! We took a stroll around downtown and got some great shots…can’t wait to spend the last day of ‘07 with you two! And I swear it won’t take me this long to get your wedding day shots done!!
Well, I’m back! Uh…kinda. I’m actually in Cali right now but I’m back to getting some actual work done! And now…it’s Michael and Lisa time! It had rained for my drive to Michigan City for Michael and Lisa’s wedding but somehow stopped just before the end of the ceremony! This made everyone happy…especially Lisa! She had planned extra time between her ceremony and reception so that we could get some cool shots at the beach…it worked out perfectly! We don’t get a lot of chances to shoot on the sand here in Indiana so we did a ton of their “formals” there! Here are a few of my favs from their day…
