Oh, the details…photographer’s paradise!
Sandra swears she’s not a model…I disagree.
Aldis and Sandra saw each other before the ceremony, gave us tons of time and were just super-relaxed…that makes our job so easy!
I *heart* these two! Seriously.
Now THIS is a ceremony location!
Everyone! Thank you all!
The Micosana…I hope I got that right, Sandra!
This was my second Latvian wedding (Hi, David and Kristina!) and wow, they know how to party!
It’s Latvian tradition to “steal” the bride and hold her for “ransom.” Aldis had to complete a list of things to get his new wife back…I believe this was called “The Gargoyle”…just one of the crazy things!
Still partying like Latvians!
I’m trying a new way to show a few details on the blog with this…let me know what you think!
This was immediately after the “dress incident”…um, let’s just say it was windy.
Kevin and Dana reading their vows…it was so stinking sweet!
Mr. and Mrs.
Sorry…another ring shot! I couldn’t decide!
Their first dance!
I don’t usually do silhouettes, but I like how this one worked!
Andrew Ripp was just freaking awesome! You can check out some of our shots of him singing the night before the wedding on the sunset cruise on Shawna’s blog. And check out his stuff on iTunes!
After the reception, we all went to Irish Kevin’s on Duval Street in Key West…what a fun time!
They each got up on stage and rocked the mic…notice the song Dana’s singing!
Kevin and Dana also shared a little time with Shawna and I the day after their wedding!
I think this is my fave…although, I can switch later if I choose to do so!
The last five Polaroid 600 prints in the world.
Ok…maybe this is my favorite!
And this one is actually from the sunset cruise the night before their ceremony…I just couldn’t leave it out!
Congratulations you two! Thank you so much for bringing us along to document your wedding weekend! I had such a blast with everyone!
And thank you so much, Shawna! We rocked that “big, blue watery road”!!!
Ok bloggies, it’s time to finally meet Scott and Kate! For their wedding, I got to travel up to the windy city, Chicago…my favorite big city! Their ceremony was at Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Ave. and their reception was at the The Drake…an amazing hotel also on Michigan Ave. I was lucky enough on this one to not only have my assistant extraordinaire, Patty with me, but also my friend and fellow photographer, Jim Meyer of Meyer Photography! It’s always such a blast to work with other photographers! And since I’m a photographer and not a writer, let’s get on with it…here are some of my faves!
Kate…looking gorgeous ALREADY!
Jim clicked this one…I dig it! It just captures the wedding day prep time so well!
How cool are Kate’s shoes?
Some single bling for ya!
(My) Scott and Kate!
Kate’s flowers were absolutely amazing!
Did I mention that her flowers were amazing?
Scott and the guys! I learned right after this that motorists don’t stop for weddings like they do here in Indy! I was almost roadkill!
Patty scored this one for me…seriously, I dig this soooooo much!
I think this is my favorite image from the day…everyone is just having a blast!
The band, Entourage was so freakin’ awesome! Seriously, check them out!
First dance time!
Kate’s dad picked her up at the end of their dance…I LOVED that!
The Drake, baby!
Scott and his mom!
Wow, wow, wow! Congratulations, Scott and Kate…and thank you sooooooo much for sharing your day with us! We had a blast with everyone…well, except for that crazy cursing lady downtown! Talk to you soon!
