This was my second Latvian wedding (Hi, David and Kristina!) and wow, they know how to party!
It’s Latvian tradition to “steal” the bride and hold her for “ransom.” Aldis had to complete a list of things to get his new wife back…I believe this was called “The Gargoyle”…just one of the crazy things!

After the reception, we all went to Irish Kevin’s on Duval Street in Key West…what a fun time!
They each got up on stage and rocked the mic…notice the song Dana’s singing!
Kevin and Dana also shared a little time with Shawna and I the day after their wedding!

Ok bloggies, it’s time to finally meet Scott and Kate! For their wedding, I got to travel up to the windy city, Chicago…my favorite big city! Their ceremony was at Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Ave. and their reception was at the The Drake…an amazing hotel also on Michigan Ave. I was lucky enough on this one to not only have my assistant extraordinaire, Patty with me, but also my friend and fellow photographer, Jim Meyer of Meyer Photography! It’s always such a blast to work with other photographers! And since I’m a photographer and not a writer, let’s get on with it…here are some of my faves!
