Please welcome Aldis and Sandra to the blog! They were married at the beautiful Latvian Center Garezers in Three Rivers, Michigan and had their reception at the Atbalsis just down the road. There’s no way I can do the location justice in words, so I’ll do my best with photos! Here are some of our faves!

This was my second Latvian wedding (Hi, David and Kristina!) and wow, they know how to party!

It’s Latvian tradition to “steal” the bride and hold her for “ransom.” Aldis had to complete a list of things to get his new wife back…I believe this was called “The Gargoyle”…just one of the crazy things!

Yes, I’m behind and I’m way late on posting this so, I’m hoping Kristina forgives me! Please, please? David and Kristina were married at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church and partied the night away at their reception at the Latvian Community Center in Indianapolis! It was really cool to witness a Latvian wedding….not to mention the Latvian reception!! David’s ring, the homemade cake, the kidnapping of the bride…and the ransom! Ok…I have a feeling that Kristina’s not even reading this (she’s probably already checking out the pics) so, let’s get to it!
