I absolutely LOVE shooting weddings of friends or family members that have been in weddings that I’ve shot before!! Kara is Keli’s sister (who’s wedding I shot last October) and was also her Maid of Honor so, I knew I was going to have a great time shooting this wedding! Shannon and Kara had their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Anderson Center for the Arts a few weeks ago. It is so cool as a photographer, to go into a wedding and already know a bunch of the people involved…very relaxing!!! Ok, let me get you right to the pics! Here are a few of my faves!

Condell & Casey | E-Session

Sometimes I meet clients at my office and I just instantly know that we’ll have such a great time working together…that said, meet Condell and Casey! When I met Casey for the first time, I just knew I was going to love these two! We shot their engagement session in Bloomington on the Indiana University campus on what I thought was, until the last few days, one of the warmest days of the year! They rocked it out the whole time! Here are a few of my faves!

Jaime and Jennifer were married a few weeks ago at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and held their reception at the beautiful Conrad hotel in downtown Indianapolis! I had such a hard time narrowing down my favorites for the blog post on this one…I went over my max…it’s a new record! It was such an awesome day…we even ignored the tornado warning and kept partying like rock stars at the reception! I had so much fun…it was my first time working with John and Jennifer from Northernlight Filmworks as well as Cara Engel from Wild Orchid Events…they simply rock! Enough blabbing…let’s get to the pics!

Matt & Rachael | E-Session

I love shooting engagement sessions…even if they’re at 8am! Since Matt works for Penske Racing (you might have heard about them…they WON the Indy 500!), we had a pretty tight window to fit them in…no prob., they worked it the whole time! I was also a little extra nervous on this one…Rachael is a photographer! Even though I tend to stress a little bit more about it, I really LOVE shooting other photographers!
